Nadyne has a background in eventing, having achieved three star level on her original Nantamboo horse,  "Confidante " . She then purchased the next foal from the same pairing,  "Nantamboo Goldtime", her current stallion. She also has a part share in the youngest Nantamboo stallion, "Kirby Park Nantamboo" who stands at Megan and Margaret Jones' stud. So, she has owned the three brothers, Wombat, Rex and Ryan, the last boys from the Hoskins Nantamboo stud.

The breeding side of things came about when Nadyne suggested that she geld Rex so she was not restricted in the events she could compete in. I thought he was much too good to geld so I did a deal on a couple of TB broodmares and the rest, as they say, is history.

Miguel Tavora, whilst instructing Nadyne on Rex, suggested that we should put him to some WB mares as the europeans do, ( TB Stallion to WB mare )  we mostly do it the other way round in OZ;  we took his advice and have produced some exceptional stock.
